Eacom Scholraships for Aboriginal Peoples

 

Fostering a culture that values education and learning is more than just a commitment at EACOM; we made it part of our most fundamental values. We believe it is important to encourage youthto pursue their dreams and to set goals for the career they see themselvess evolving in.

this program provides financial support ($1000) to aboriginal students interested in pursuinga post-secondary education in forestry or business. Scholarships will be provided to individuals that exemplify the qualities of strong academic standing and comminment to their field of study.

Eligibility

To be eligible to receive a scholarship, the candidate:

• Is aged between 16 - 30
• Is currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary study program
• Demonstrated strong academic studying
• Demonstrates a commitment to their filed of study beyond academics, for example by volunteering or working in the forest products industry or business, or by showing a reccomendation letter from someone in the community
• Is entitled to work and study in Canada
• Is a member of a Fisrt Nations or Metis'
• Resides in Ontario or Quebec
