Call for Letters of lnterest
To fill Two Vacant Board of Directors Seats
For the Enaadmaagehjik o/a Wikwemikong Development
Commission

Applicant is to submit a letter of interest outlining their experience and background in economic
development and must meet the following criteria:

Board Membership Eligibility:
1. Must be a Wikwemikong Band Member Residing in the Manitoulin District,
2. Must be at least 18 years of age.
3. Must not have an amount outstanding to W.D.C.
4. Must forgo allfunding programs delivered by W.D,C.
5. Must not be an employee, nor a past employee of the WDC in the last two years
6. The Lands and Economy Portfolio Holders cannot be Board Members of WDC.
7. Must not have an immediate family member employed by WDC.

Please Note: The WDC Board of Directors term of office will cease at mid-night on the eve
before the Wikwemikong Development Commission's Annual General Meeting which will be
held in the fall of 2018

Definition of lmmediate Family Member:
"lmmediate Family" means; Spouse (including same sex and opposite sex partners in a legal
marriage or a common-law relationship), son, daughter, father, mother, brother, sister, stepson
or stepdaughter, or a person residing in the same household. (Amended November 30,2017
AGM)
