Wii-ni n’guch-tood Labour Market Services continues to provide assistance to band members with their Employment Insurance applications through social distancing measures for the protection of our staff.
The applications are available at the WDC front entrance vestibule where they can be picked up. When complete, the applications can be returned to the drop box at the same location. The applications will be collected at the end of each business day. An LMS staff member will call you to set up a telephone appointment to initiate the processing of your application with Service Canada. Miigwech!
Service Canada Outreach will usually be held on the first Friday of each month, located at the Wiikwemkoong Band Office 10am to 3pm. A Service Canada representative will be available to assist with EI applications, Passports, Social Insurance Numbers, CPP and Pension applications. Walk-ins only, no appointment needed.
