Thanks to all our canvassers who helped us register over 400 applicants – well exceeding our goal of 350.

The next step in the process is to have our Energy Assessors visit your residence to perform the initial assessment.

This visit involves installation of:

· energy saving light bulbs,

· low-flow shower heads,

· faucet aerators,

· hot water tank wraps and pipe insulation,

· smart power bars, and

· block heater timers.

The Energy Assessor will also take measurements on your older working appliances to determine if they can be replaced. This includes:

· refrigerators, freezers,

· window air conditioners,

· dehumidifiers.

Electrically heated homes will also be evaluated for energy efficiency.

These assessments are being scheduled now for the next three (3) weeks including Saturday and Sunday. You will receive a phone call from the Abor Group to set up an appointment. You may also call Wikwemikong's Aboriginal Conservation Program at (705) 859-3018 or stop by our office in the mini mall.

Miigwech for your participation in this program.
